Restorative Oil for Skin + Scalp (50ml) - Psoriasis and Eczema Treatment Oil

Psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis are all associated with a compromised skin barrier. When the skin's lipid barrier is weakened, moisture escapes more easily, irritants and microbes can enter more readily. Resulting cycles of dryness, itch, flaking, and inflammation become difficult to manage. While topical steroids help control inflammation during use, they are not designed to restore the skin barrier itself. 

Restorative Oil is formulated to support barrier repair alongside symptom management.

How BLC™ works

At the core of this formulation is our Barrier Lipid Complex™ (BLC™) — a proprietary blend rich in linoleic acid and other essential fatty acids. These lipids support the skin barrier, improve moisture retention, and improve the skin's natural ceramide-producing processes.BLC™ helps support a more resilient skin barrier over time.

How the supporting actives work

Virgin Coconut Oil (Lauric Acid) targets Staphylococcus aureus, the bacteria most consistently linked to eczema and psoriasis flare-ups 

Frankincense (Boswellic Acid) inhibits the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme, a key driver of inflammation in psoriasis and eczema 

Tea Tree (Terpinen-4-ol) provides antifungal and antibacterial action, reducing Malassezia yeast and S. aureus overgrowth 

Rosemary Essential Oil improves microcirculation at the skin and scalp surface, enhancing nutrient delivery

Our Restorative Oil for Skin + Scalp is formulated without any ingredient that could worsen sensitive, inflamed, or barrier-compromised skin:

❌ Steroids, salicylic acid, and synthetic anti-inflammatory agents 

❌ Mineral oil, petrolatum, and paraffin-based ingredients 

❌ Silicones (like dimethicone) that prevent skin renewal and clog pores 

❌ Synthetic fragrances, artificial perfumes, and added colourants 

❌ Parabens and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives 

❌ PEG compounds, propylene glycol, and synthetic glycols 

❌ Sulfates (SLS/SLES) and harsh detergent surfactants 

❌ Drying alcohols that disrupt the skin barrier 

❌ Emulsifiers and fillers with no therapeutic value

For skin (body patches, elbows, knees, torso):

• Dispense 3–5 pumps and apply to affected areas
• Massage gently in circular motions for 1–2 minutes to aid absorption
• Do not wash off — allow to absorb fully
• Use twice daily for active flares; once daily for maintenance

For scalp (psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff):

• Apply directly to the scalp and affected sections
• Massage using fingertips (avoid scratching)
• Leave on for a minimum of 2–3 hours, or overnight for intensive care
• Follow with the Restorative Shampoo if using as part of the 3-step scalp routine

For face (forehead, nose, brows, jawline patches):

• Apply 1–2 pumps to affected areas
• Use at night for best results
