We believe what’s not in your shampoo matters as much as what is. This formula is free from:

❌ Sulphates (SLS, SLES) and other harsh surfactants : Strip the scalp’s natural protective oils, often worsening dryness and flaking

❌ Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid (synthetic) & Lactic Acid : Synthetic acids that can over-exfoliate and irritate an already-compromised scalp

❌ Denatured Alcohol (Alcohol Denat) : Disrupts the scalp’s natural lipid matrix, making the barrier weaker

❌ Mineral oil, petrolatum & light paraffin : Sit on the scalp surface without supporting its natural repair process

❌ Silicones (like dimethicone) : Coat the scalp and hair, trapping buildup and blocking renewal

❌ Triglycerides (synthetic) : Heavy, occlusive fillers that can clog follicles without offering real benefit

❌ Synthetic colourants : No functional benefit to scalp health, a common unnecessary irritant

How to Wash: Wet hair and scalp thoroughly → Take a coin-sized amount and apply directly to the scalp → Massage gently from scalp to ends, working it through for 2–3 minutes → Rinse thoroughly with water

Double Cleanse (if needed): If your hair has been heavily oiled or has product buildup, repeat with a second, shorter wash. The first wash loosens oil and buildup, while the second cleanses the scalp more effectively. 

Lather note: This shampoo produces a lighter lather than conventional shampoos because it's made with plant-derived cleansers instead of harsh sulphates. Less foam doesn't mean less cleansing—it means a gentler wash.

Layering note: Apply Restorative Oil or Hair Growth Oil to the scalp 2 hours before washing, or the night before, to help keep the scalp hydrated and well-balanced before cleansing.

Consistency: Use 2–3 times a week for best results. Most people notice less flaking and itching within 2–3 weeks of consistent use; for chronic psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis, allow 6–8 weeks for fuller results.

💡 Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. Avoid scratching wet, freshly-washed hair, scalp is more vulnerable to micro-tears right after washing.
